week4-- mind mapping

this week study is about creative thinking with mind mapping technique. creative thinking can be classified into 2 categories, diverging (brainstorming and looking for alternative) -expanding the play field, and converging (thinking all the information and possibilities and turn it to a solution) - narrowing the play field. most people possess only 1 type of creative thinking but not both. psychologist state that a person with high IQ doesn't mean that he is a creative person.http://www.google.com.my/imglanding?q=mind%20mapping&imgurl=http://resourcebank.sitc.co.uk/

We also learn that mind mapping improve creativity and for easy recall, show keywords, save time, concentrate real issue, generate and brainstorming ideas. Creative thinking can be separated into logical mind mapping ( stereotypes- put words and image directly related to the central subject through links) and associated mind mapping ( generate random words and links that have no connection).

By the definition above, i also learn that how people can be categories into a stereotype person. that is when a person have a public belief about specific social group or type of individual. they conventional, formulaic, over simplified the conception, opinion or images.
